Carpenter, Alexander

Sherry Carpenter and Dennis Carpenter, both of Yazoo City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Misty, to Greg Alexander, son of Gary and Christi Alexander of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 31, 2004, at 4:30 p.m. at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Miss Carpenter is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mr. Rodney Carpenter of Yazoo City, Peggy Saxton of Yazoo City and the late George Robert Saxton.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Yazoo City High School and received a degree in radiology from the University of Mississippi.
Miss Carpenter is employed by St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Mr. Alexander is the grandson of Doris Birdsong and the late Frank Birdsong, and the late Fred P. and Minnie Alexander, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi. He will be a 2004 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University with a master's degree in nurse anesthesia.
A reception will be held at Lookout College Bed and Breakfast in Eureka Springs.
