Graveside services for George C. Rawson Jr. will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Rawson Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Boles officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rawson, 66, of Meridian, died Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Leonald Barnes of Meridian; sisters Kay Kacker of York, Ala. and Merle Phillips of Meridian and a brother, James Rawson.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-7p.m. at the funeral home.
JACKSONServices for Frances Bickel O'Rorke will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Meridian. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. O'Rorke, 93, of Jackson, died Friday, June 11, 2004 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Eileen O. Soule of Meridian, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marcelle O. Brennan, Helen O. Swann, Jeanne O. Nelson and Nina O. Moss and a brother, Emmett O'Rorke.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Catherine's Village Foundation, 200 Dominican Drive, Madison, MS, 39110.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for Elvy Willis Hollingsworth, 98, of Decatur, who died Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Okahatta Nursing Care Center in Decatur.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Ida R. Stevenson, 62, of Meridian, who died Friday, June 11, 2004 at Riley Memorial Hospital.
