Stokes, Schroeder

Mr. and Mrs. Don W. Stokes of DeKalb announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacy Elizabeth, to Scott Christopher Schroeder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry R. Schroeder of Warrenton, Mo.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 26, 2004, at 4 p.m. at DeKalb Baptist Church.
Miss Stokes is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Stokes of DeKalb, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Staten of Macon.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Kemper Academy and received a bachelor's degree in speech and language pathology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She will received a master's degree in speech language and audiology-audiology this month from USM.
Mr. Schroeder is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edger Schroeder, Marcella Cleary and the late William Cleary, all of St. Louis.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School and received a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mr. Schroeder is a mitochondrial DNA technician for the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory in Washington D.C.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
