Mockbee, Luckett

Jacquelyn Johnson Mockbee of Canton announces the engagement of her daughter, Margaret Lee, to Robert E. Luckett Jr., son of Jeanne B. Luckett of Florence and the late Robert E. Luckett Sr. Miss Mockbee is also the daughter of the late Samuel Mockbee.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson.
Ms. Mockbee is the granddaughter of Edna Earl Fulton Johnson of Collinsville and the late Mark M. Johnson and the late Margaret Berry Mockbee and Norman Mockbee of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in political science and received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi.
Ms. Mockbee is employed by Evert and Weathersby, L.L.C. in Athens, Ga.
Mr. Luckett is the grandson of the late Eugene and Mary Scott Burnet of Jackson, and the late Bert and Catherine Spalding Luckett of Loreto, Ky.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Richland High School and Yale University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Georgia.
Mr. Luckett is employed as a teaching assistant in the Department of History at the University of Georgia.
A reception will be held at the Jackson Yacht Club following the ceremony.
