Bemister, Dufour

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Bemister of Charlotte, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to Joseph Paul Dufour, son of Johanna Irby Dufour of Scooba, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dufour of Louisville.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 6 p.m. at Auburn United Methodist Church in Auburn, Ala.
Ms. Bemister is the granddaughter of Martha Glime and the late William Harrison Glime, and the late Bryar and Dorothy Bemister, all of Royal Oak, Mich.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Daphne High School in Daphne, Ala., and received a bachelor's degree in public relations from Auburn University.
While attending Auburn, she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and the Student Alumni Association. Ms. Bemister is employed by Marsh, Meadows Marketing of Atlanta, Ga.
Mr. Dufour is the grandson of Janice Irby of Scooba and the late Dr. C.R. Irby; Catherine Dufour of Meridian and the late Reginald John Dufour Sr.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Kemper Academy in DeKalb and received an associate's degree in forestry from East Mississippi Community College. He received a bachelor's degree in public administration from Auburn University.
While attending Auburn, he was a member of Fellowship of Christian Firefighters, the Auburn Forestry Club and the Student Alumni Association. He also served as a firefighter for the Auburn Fire Department.
Mr. Dufour is employed by Enterprise in Atlanta.
A reception will be held at The Lodge at Grand National in Opleika, Ala., following the ceremony.
