Three kids jump another, steal bike

Meridian Police are searching for three teenagers who allegedly jumped a 16-year-old Monday on Eighth Street and stole his bicycle.
Detective Dean Harper, a Meridian Police Department spokesman, said the incident happened about 4:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Eighth Street.
Harper said the suspects will be treated as adults in the investigation until they are charged. Then they would be turned over to the Lauderdale County Juvenile Center.
