Barker, Burroughs

Edward and Patsy Germany, and Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Barker announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodie LeeAnn Barker, to Jason Ashley Burroughs, son of Linda Anne Burroughs and the late Carl Edmound Burroughs.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 5 p.m. at Linwood Baptist Church.
Miss Barker is the granddaughter of Horace and Cathy Nicholson, the late Jean Nicholson, Bonnie Barker and the late Rev. Leo Barker.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Union High School and will graduate in May from East Central Community College with a degree in nursing.
Mr. Burroughs is the grandson of Dot Johnson and the late Edwin Hall Johnson, Marie Burroughs and the late Carl Hall Burroughs.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Union High School, East Central Community College and Mississippi State University, where he majored in education.
Mr. Burroughs is employed as a teacher, and assistant football and baseball coach with the Union Public School System.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
