Forest man killed in one-vehicle crash

A Forest man died at the scene of a one-vehicle accident Wednesday in Clarke County.
Curtis R. Ward, 29, was traveling south on Highway 45, about 10 miles south of Meridian, when the 1998 Chevrolet he was driving ran off the road, according to Sgt. Ronnie Carter of the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. Carter said the accident is still under investigation and that it appeared Ward was not wearing his seat belt.
