50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. George "Skeeter" Gordon are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Meridian on March 26, 1954. After their wedding, they traveled to Nashville, Tenn., and attended the WSM Grand Ole Opry. This weekend, in celebration of their golden anniversary, their children, Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Cochran, have traveled with them to Nashville to once again attend The Grand Ole Opry. Mrs. Gordon is the former Ruby Grace Hendley.
