Junior Miss 2005
Candidates ready to compete for titles

Cathrine Marie Harper, a student at Southeast Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Buddy and Cathy Harper. Cathrine will perform a jazz/color guard routine. She plans to attend MSU and pursue a degree in interior design.
Brittany Danielle Butler, the daughter of Jerry and Joyce Butler, is a student at Southeast Lauderdale High School. Brittany will perform a jazz dance to "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." Butler plans to attend either the University of West Alabama or USM. Her career goal to be an neonatal intensive care nurse.
Kathryn Elisabeth Buntyn, a student at West Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Dale Buntyn and Sally Gaddis. Kathryn will sing an original song titled "Rescue Me" and play the guitar. She plans to attend Georgia State and major in forensic science.
Samantha Ann Kinard, a student at West Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of David and Stella Kinard. Samantha will perform an interpretive dance to "Shout to the Lord." She plans to attend USM and pursue a career as a registered nurse.
Bonnie Ruth Stephens, the daughter of Kent and Linda Stephens, is a student at West Lauderdale High School. Bonnie will perform a flag routine set to music. She plans to attend Ole Miss. Her career goal is to become a teacher.
Chandler Rene Giles, the daughter of Mike and Kathy Giles, is homeschooled. Chandler will play "Mandarin Orange" on the piano. She plans to attend William Carey College or MSU. Her career goals is to become a missionary doctor.
Madison Gabrielle Ross, a student at West Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Susan and Larry Ross. Madison will perform a dance routine to "Something Worth Leaving Behind." She plans to attend Millsaps College and major in medicine or business.
Brittany VaShondra Kelly, a student at West Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Kelly. Brittany will play "Flight of the Bumblebee" on the piano. She plans to attend Tennessee State University and major in physical therapy.
Jessica Leigh Love, the daughter of James and Teresa Love, is a student at Northeast Lauderdale High School. Jessica will perform a jazz dance to "We're Dancing." She plans to attend Ole Miss and pursue a career as a psychologist.
Tonicia Andrelle Giles, a student at Northeast Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Tony and Pamela Giles. Tonicia will perform a praise dance to "It's Over Now." She plans to attend USM and major in nursing.
Morgan Alyse Hobgood, a student at Northeast Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Jerry and Patti Hobgood. Alyse will sing "Over the Rainbow." She plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her career goal is to become a general practitioner.
Chaquita Monique Sillimon, a student at Northeast Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Robert and Eddie Mae Sillimon. Monique will sing "Open My Heart." She plans to attend East Mississippi Community College and major in early childhood education.
Lauren Ashley Pedroso, the daughter of Rebecca York and Greg York, is a student at Clarkdale Attendance Center. Lauren will perform a jazz dance to "Le Jazz Hot." She plans to attend Ole Miss. Her career goal is to become a pediatric physician.
Savannah Kenyata McClinton, a student at West Lauderdale High School, is the daughter of Anthony and Sonia McClinton. Savannah will perform a liturgical dance to the song "Worship." She plans to attend the University of Alabama. Her career goal is to become a obstetrician.
