Welcome back
Chris Moffett stepped back on the mound at Scaggs Field for the first time in almost two years on Tuesday afternoon in a doubleheader against Wabash Valley. Moffett had missed all of last season and part of this season after shoulder surgery.
The former Clarkdale standout pitched the final inning in the second of the doubleheader and recorded two strikeouts. MCC head coach Mike Federico admires his sophomore right handers work ethic.
Moffett's father, Cotton, who pitched for the Eagles in 1974, said it was good to see his son back on the mound.
