DEKALB Services for Alonzie Boyd Roberts will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian with the Rev. Larry Leggett officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Church cemetery in Savoy. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roberts, 32, of Meridian, formerly of DeKalb, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, LaSundra Roberts; children, Chante, LaQuita, Raven, Kaylah and Kortenee Roberts, all of Meridian; his mother, Johnnie Mae Roberts of DeKalb; sisters, Mary E. Listenbee, Ruby Alexander, Othelia Kirk, Lodia W. Roberts, Lorine Holifield and her husband, James, and Della Eddington, all of Milwaukee, Wis., Lonnie J. Oliver of Inglewood, Calif., Ualla Carter and her husband, Emanual, of Columbia, S.C., Mildred J. Carter of Meridian, and Eunice Eleby and her husband, Curtis, of DeKalb; brothers, Lemar Roberts, Arlies Roberts and his wife, Marie and Leonard V. Roberts, all of Milwaukee; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather.
Visitation will be today 3 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home in DeKalb.
Services for Brhon Jordan will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Jordan, 29, of Meridian, died Monday, March 8, 2004, in his home.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Walter "Mack" Parker, of Meridian, who died Sunday, March 7, 2004, in Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at James. F. Webb Funeral Home for Ernest Nicholson, 82, of Meridian, who died Monday, March 8, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Albert Lee Houston, 55, formerly of DeKalb, who died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
