She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roscoe Ray Laird and W.H. Tisdale; her parents, Thomas Calvin and Josephine Donald Cobb; three sisters, Ruby Cobb, Emma Sue Chamblee and Eunice Spivey.
Pallbearers will be Randy Reeves, Steve Freeman, Bryan Turman, Kevin Laird, Zackary Steele and Cody Steele.
Honorary pallbearers will be Woody Chaney and Junior Laird.
Visitation will be today 4:30 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
Services for James S. Pigott will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Pigott, 73, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be Thursday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Velma Lewis Hearn will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church of Collinsville, with the Revs. Chester Davis Jr. and E.E. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hearn, 92, of Collinsville, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her children, Louise White and her husband, Prentiss, Joe Hearn and his wife, Ola Mae, Peggy Reed and her husband, James, and Edwean Thames, all of Collinsville, and Tensie Lee Cooper and her husband, Edward, of Harrisburg, Pa.; 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Lewis of Collinsville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.
Services for Howard McQuarters will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleveland Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McQuarters, 91, of Lauderdale, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Jackson. He was a veteran.
Survivors include his daughters, Bernice Brown of Newton, Annie Ford and Redia Cannon, both of Lauderdale, and Catherine Johnson of Meridian; a son, James McQuarters of Oakland; a sister, Willie M. Preston of Meridian; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

MILTON, Fla. Memorial services for Mary Jane Simpson Burleson will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope, Ala. A second memorial service will be held March 4 at 5 p.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Milton. Wolfe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burleson, 68, of Milton, formerly of Mississippi, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, in Fairhope.
Survivors include her daughters, Jane Badon of Fairhope, Karen Burleson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Valerie Carlson of Dade City, Fla.; sisters, Louise Simpson Rawson of Meridian and Irene Simpson Hawkins of Mobile, Ala.; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglass and Ida Louise "Wessie" Simpson.
Memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 6475 Van Buren St., Suite 201, Daphne, AL 36526.
Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 1:15 p.m. at the church.

LEXINGTON Services for James H. Harkness were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Sammy Crawford, Dr. William Smith and Blain McLain officiating. Burial was in Ecru Cemetery. Southern Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harkness, 75, of Lexington, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at The University Hospital of Holmes County in Lexington.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Murl Winter Harkness of Lexington; daughters, Bonnie Harkness Rogers and her husband, James, of Bethesda, Md., and Joy Harkness of Meridian; a son, Scott Harkness of Lexington; brothers, D.L. Harkness of Lexington, Ross Harkness, Leighton Harkness and Donnis Harkness, all of Pontotoc; sisters, Schwanda Foster of Ecru, Ann Simmons and Martha Tate, both of Pontotoc; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Sheriff Ranch of Columbus, the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
