Eubanks, Purvis

Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Eubanks of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Leigh, to Steven Troy Purvis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gale Purvis of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 4 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.
Miss Eubanks is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Flynt Lamar Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ray Eubanks, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor's degree in human sciences, with a concentration in child life, from Mississippi State University. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Meridian Community College.
While attending MSU, she was a member of the Baptist Student Union, Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Omicron Nu.
Miss Eubanks is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Purvis is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Claude Vincent, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Purvis Sr., all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School. He is employed by Colonial Pipeline.
A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
