    Retired construction worker
    Graveside services for Willis Monroe King were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Meehan Cemetery in Lauderdale County. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. King, 76, of Bastrop, La., formerly of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Hillview Nursing Center in Bastrop.
    Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Killough and her husband, Hardie, of New Albany and Deborah Killough of Philadelphia; sons, Johnny King of Meehan, Joseph King and Steve King, both of New Albany, and William King of Texas; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Retired
    Graveside services for Roland Palmer will be held today at 2 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in Kemper County with the Revs. Malcolm Lewis and Jason Gross officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Palmer, 70, of the Causeyville Community, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in his home. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church and the retired owner of Palmer Income Tax Service. He was a veteran.
    Survivors include his wife, Faye Palmer of Causeyville; three children and several grandchildren; brothers, Aubry Palmer of DeKalb and Randell Palmer of Suqualena; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Allie Palmer; five brothers and one sister.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Northcrest Baptist Church.
    Visitation will be today 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Retired
    Services for Mary Cooper Plott will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Elvin Sunds officiating. Burial will be in Semmes Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Plott, 84, of Meridian, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a lifetime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
    Mrs. Plott was a member of Our Lady of Faith Sodality, the Goodwill Committee, Circle of Friends, Charter Club, RCIA and Southern Seniors Retiree Group from Southern Railway. She retired after more than 50 years with Southern Railway.
    Survivors include her son, James M. Plott Jr. of Ontario, Canada; granddaughters, Dawnelle Harrison Riley, Tiffany Plott, Trinity Cook, Natalie Corley, Tammy Cornett and Maegan Plott; and seven great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Otho A. and Eulah Semmes Cooper; and her husband, James M. Plott Sr.
    Pallbearers will be David Roddie, Joe Roddie, Quentin Roddie, Jerry Corley, Bob Keller, Jacob Keller, Lamont Cook and Tom Zettler.
    Honorary pallbearers will be E. Moore, Eddie Crampton, Harold Freeman, C.P. Mosby and members of the Southern Railway Retirement Group.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for James Ray Luke will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Alan Randall and Terry Rivers officiating. Burial will be in Coy Methodist Cemetery in Preston.
    Mr. Luke, 78, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in Neshoba County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
    Survivors include his wife, Ruth Luke; a daughter, Jan Goldman and a son, Dr. Neal Luke, all of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; a sister, Nellie McKay of Atmore, Ala.; and a brother, Royce Luke of Gautier.
    Visitation will be today 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    KCS Railroad employee
    UNION Services for Donald E. Warren will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery.
    Mr. Warren, 52, of Pearl, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in Jackson.
    Survivors include his daughter, Emily Harrison of Forest; sons, David Warren of Bossier City, La., and Robbye Warren of Sebastopol; three grandchildren, Shelby Harrison, Warren Harrison and Ben Harrison, all of Forest; a sister, Becky Branning of Union; one niece, one nephew and a special friend, Anita Cooley.
    Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

    JACKSON Services for Alfred Marvin Jacob will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Morton Cemetery.
    Mr. Jacob, 87, of Jackson, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, in his home. He was born in Columbus on Sept. 1, 1916, the son of Maurice Jacob and Annette Butera Jacob. He graduated from Central High School in Jackson in 1935 and was involved in the Sea Scouts and earned the Eagle Scout badge. He earned a bachelor's of science degree with a major in business from Mississippi State University and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
    He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Signal Corps as a first lieutenant in the European Theater.
    Mr. Jacob was a self-employed professional photographer with places of business in Forest and Meridian. He was a member of the Professional Photographers of America, an avid gardener and an award-winning member of the Camelia Society.
    Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Tip Stuart Jacob of Jackson; children, Marvin Tip Jacob and his wife, Jean, of Canton, Mynette Gibson and her husband, Harry, of Meridian, Lisa Hayles of Birmingham, Ala., Fred Jacob and his wife, Nancy, of Brandon, Greg Jacob and his wife, Rebecca, of Madison and Madrid, Spain, and Lee Jacob and his wife, Melissa, of Brandon; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Jacob of Huntsville, Ala.; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Stuart Maurice Jacob; and a granddaughter, Laura Jacob.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS 39157 or New Covenant Church, P.O. Box 28, Ridgeland, MS 39158.
    Visitation will be Wednesday 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
