Meridian School Board updates district's policies

The Meridian School Board held a work session Wednesday to discuss changing and updating its policies.
Among the policies discussed were the terms of school board members, students' daily attendance, staff vacations, holidays, summer school and emergency school closings.
The board will hold regular work sessions until all policies have been reviewed or updated. No formal action was taken at the meeting.
