McDill, Hodges

Amy Carol Hodges and Dennis Glenn McDill, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Allan Singletary officiating.
Parents of the couple are Lynn and Carrie Latham of Meridian, Bill Hodges of Jackson, and Glenn and Barbara McDill of Carthage.
Grandparents of the bride are Carolyn Jones of Meridian and the late Jack Jones, Edward Hodges of Meridian and the late Patsy Hodges.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Ruth Ellis and Grover Ellis of Madden, and Alene McDill of Conehatta and the late Preston McDill.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Elaine Pogue, pianist; Krista Everett, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a white designer gown of matte satin overlaid with organza that featured spaghetti straps, embroidered flowers in shades of white with hand sewn sequins. The bodice featured a sculptured sweetheart neckline with embroidery cascading across the back of the bodice.
Crystal Shelby of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Erin Ferguson of Union, Julie Mangum of Newton, Jamie Hodges of Meridian and sister-in-law of the bride, and Amy Shepherd of Meridian.
Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Hodges of Jackson, sister of the bride. Joleigh Pickel of Union served as flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jason Holland, Brant Gressett and William Hodges, brother of the bride, all of Meridian, Michael Hall of Lena, J. Paul Everett of Philadelphia and Joe Haywood of Ellisville. Benjamin Latham of Quitman served as ring bearer.
Program attendants were Belinda Latham and Brook Latham.
A reception was held in the Jaycee Building following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Sonya Knight, Amy Mixon, Rebecca Jones and Sally Jones, cousins of the bride.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
