Services for Clarist Rush will be held today at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
Mr. Rush, 77, of Porterville, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Heartfelt Hospice.
Survivors include his sons, Milton Jimerson, Cloist Jimerson, and Clyde Jimerson; a daughter, Patricia J. Johnson; a brother, Gus Rush of Bristol, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

RIPLEY Services for Jamie Finger Braddock will be held today at 11 a.m. at Ripley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William J. "Bill" Connolly officiating. Burial will be in Ripley Cemetery with McBride Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Braddock, 85, of Ripley, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. She was an active member of Ripley Presbyterian Church where she directed the choir for many years. She was an educator for more than 30 years and was a member of professional education organizations. She was also a member of the Junior Civic League.
Survivors include her sons, Jim Braddock and his wife, Jackie, of Memphis, Tenn., Tal Braddock and his wife, Kathy, of Tupelo, John Leland Braddock of Ripley and a brother, Wade Finger of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Bobby Braddock and Lee Braddock, both of Jackson, Tenn., Hope Mitchell and her husband, Gerry, of Meridian, Leighton Mims Braddock of Oxford and Clay Braddock of Ripley and one great-grandchild, Eli Mitchell of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Talmadge Braddock; her parents, Leland Stanford and Mims Parks Finger and sisters, Mary Parks Finger and Margaret Finger McKeown.
Services for Willie L. Cooper will be held today at 11 a.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tony Burks and Willie Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove cemetery in Toomsuba.
Mr. Cooper, 48, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Robinson Cooper, his sister, Georgia Boyd and his adopted sister, Marion Boler, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Cooper.
U.S. Army Master sgt.
Services for Kate Jones with full military honors will be held today at 11 a.m. at Mt. Horem Baptist Church with the Rev. C. L. Walk officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Daleville with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Jones, 50, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at Picatinny Arsenal Army Base in Picatinny Arsenal, N.J.
Survivors include her son, Steven Jones of Meridian; two very special cousins, Leroy Jones of Fairfield, Calif.; and Isreal McQuarters and his wife, Catherine, of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her mother, May Sue Blakley and her father, Bud Tucker.

Services for Beatrice Walker will be held today at 11 a.m. at Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. M.C. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker, 83, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Riley Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Walker of Meridian; a godson, Lynn Deon Henry of Jackson; a brother, Travis Evans of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Addie E. Simon, of Chicago, Attwood B. Gray, of Detroit and Frances Bridges of Lawrence.
Services for Sylvia Hill will be held today at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Claude Collins officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill, 41, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Hill of Fort Worth, Texas; her mother, Willie Mae Adams of Meridian; her sister, Brenda Rodriguez and her husband, John, of Meridian; four brothers, Kipp Hodges of Meridian; Col. Terry Hodges and his wife, Capt. Claudie Hodges, of Newport, Va.; Albert Hodges; and Michael Adams and his wife, Christina, of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Barnes.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the church.
