Way, Cheatham

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Way of Newton announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nichole, to Matthew Lamar Cheatham, son of Robert and Cathy Cheatham of Union.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Newton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Albert Brady and Margaret Brady of Newton and the late William Mashberg and Monteele Mashberg of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton High School and East Central Community College. She is currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Miss Way is employed with Saks Inc.
Mr. Cheatham is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Odell Ezell of Union, and Mr. and Mrs. James R. Cheatham of Philadelphia.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Union High School and received a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
The bridegroom-elect is employed with Pride Drilling Company.
A reception will be held at the historic Newton Train Depot following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attended.
