Evans, Williford

Mr. and Mrs. James Dansby Evans of Butler, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Purcell, to Frank Allyn Williford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rendall Lewis Taylor of Tuscaloosa, and Frank Grouby Williford of Montgomery, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at 5 p.m. at Mount Sterling Methodist Church near Butler.
Miss Evans is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Gordon Paul and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Henry Evans Jr., all of Butler, and the late William Homer Morris of Geneva, Ala.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Patrician Academy and received a degree in veterinary medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating magna cum laude.
While attending Auburn, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and is a provisional member of the Junior League of Montgomery, Ala.
Dr. Evans is employed by Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital in Montgomery.
Mr. Williford is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Churchill Houston of Union Springs, Ala., and Mrs. Henry Newton Williford of Auburn and the late Col. Williford.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Bullock Memorial School and received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Auburn University.
Mr. Williford is employed by the state of Alabama.
A reception will be held at Choctaw Country Club in Butler following the ceremony.
