Enterprise faces tough road in 2003

Renewed rivalries and a tough division should make Enterprise's 2003 season a challenging one.
The Bulldogs will open the year with five non-division foes before battling through the 7-2A schedule.
The Bulldogs open the year with a renewed rivalry with Southeast Lauderdale on Aug. 29 in Enterprise.
Enterprise will then face another area foe as the Bulldogs travel to Clarkdale in a huge rivalry for a Thursday night (Sept. 4).
Enterprise will host yet another Lauderdale County team the next week as the Knights of West Lauderdale come to town.
Enterprise travels to Newton the next week and then hosts Lake for Homecoming on Sept. 26 to wrap up non-division play.
The Bulldogs must then face a very difficult division schedule against teams such as Bay Springs and defending MHSAA Class 2A State Champion Taylorsville.
Enterprise kicks off division play on the road against Bay Springs on Oct. 3.
The Bulldogs then host new division foe Heidelberg at home on Oct. 10. The next week Enterprise travels to take on powerful Taylorsville in a huge division matchup.
Bassfield and Seminary will close out the Enterprise regular season. Both teams are improved programs and return a lot of players from last year so they should provide strong tests for the Bulldogs.
