Services for Refuge Christian Fellowship Church are currently held at Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3115 15th St. For more information, call 696-4880.
Power Hour, which brings the Christian community together for inspiration and encouragement, meets the first Thursday of each month at First Baptist Church. The hour includes lunch, fellowship, prayer, inspirational music and testimony. It is open to all races, denominations and genders. No reservations are necessary.
The cost of a deluxe meal is $6.50. Lunch is served 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The program begins at 12:15 p.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m. For information, call Jimmy Slay at 482-9779.
Fellowship Baptist Church is collecting labels from Campbell products to buy equipment for the church. Labels from the following Campbell products are requested: soups, beans, Swanson broths, Pepperidge Farm products, Prego pasta sauces, V-8 Juice and Franco-American Spaghettios.

HEIDELBERG Greater Beaver Missionary Baptist Church's annual family day service will be observed during the morning worship service. "Families: Celebrating Generations of Blessings" Acts 3:25 is the theme.
Revival is scheduled through Wednesday at Mont Rose Baptist Church, with the Rev. Marvin Howard of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Smithdale, officiating. Service times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday; and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. For more information, call (601) 776-9336.
PUSHMATAHA, Ala. Ordination services for Benny Ford will be at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
Installation services for the Rev. Paul C. Garrett as pastor of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church will be at 3 p.m. The Rev. Lelious A. Johnson of St. Paul Baptist Church, Dallas, will be guest speaker. Guest choir will be William Myles and Young People of Praise.
A hat parade will be at 3 p.m. at Greater Fellowship Baptist Church, 3312 Meridale Road. Each participant is asked to contribute $10 in the name of their church and to model two hats. For more information, call 483-4114 or 681-8991.
A Summer Praise Jamboree will be at 3 p.m. at The Refuge Christian Fellowship Church, 829 47th Ave. The event will feature performances by the Fifth Street Baptist Church Choir, Veronica Terrell, First Church of the Nazarene of Quitman and the praise team of Henderson Ridge Baptist Church in Preston.
The mission ministry of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2008 18th Ave., will host its annual female musical at 4 p.m. Soloists from the local and surrounding areas will perform various categories of Christian music.
PUSHMATAHA, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be at 6 p.m. at Gilfield Baptist Church.
Friday
LAKE The Freemans of Hendersonville, Tenn., The Gibbs Family and the Rev. Tommy Anderson will be in concert at 7 p.m. at The Sanctuary, 1197 Old 80 Road. A donation of $7 will be taken at the door to assist a family in financial need. For more information, call (601)775-3467.
