LAUREL Services for April D. Shearer will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Thompson and Mike Boles officiating. Burial will be in Myrick Cemetery in Jones County.
Ms. Shearer, 20, of Laurel, died Sunday, June 15, 2003. She was employed with Miles Pool Supply and was a member of Glade Baptist Church in Laurel. She attended The Evangel Temple in Meridian.
Survivors include her mother, Ginger Guthrie of Laurel; father and step-mother, Frank K. and Connie M. Davidson of Meridian; a daughter, Callie Shearer of Laurel; a brother, Jonah Davidson of Meridian; maternal grandparents, William C. and Doris Guthrie of Laurel; paternal grandparents, John S. and Alice M. Davidson of Gibson, La.; paternal great-grandmother, Leola Sheperd of Gibson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Coleman and Dessie Wilson; and her paternal great-grandfather, Nephi Knope.
Pallbearers will be Thad Windham, Nathan Hodge, Van Meadows, Chad Meadows, John Davidson and Jonathan Boles.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
UNION Services for John Edward Tubby Sr. will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Old Cannan Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tubby, 35, of Walnut Grove, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Willis of Carthage; daughters, Candace Tubby and Vickie Tubby; sons, John Edward Tubby Jr. and Davion Scott Tubby, all of Carthage; brothers, Edwin Tubby of Walnut Grove, Edmond Tubby Jr. of Carthage, Paul Tubby of Oklahoma and Willie Wane Tubby; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond Tubby Sr. and Elsenia Tubby.

QUITMAN Services for Winnie Olive Adams Robinson will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson, 84, of Quitman, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of Ruth Sunday School Class and Eda Dabbs WMU at First Baptist Church. She was a 20-year employee of Chickasawhay Natural Gas Company.
Survivors include her sons, Charles V. Robinson of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Edward E. Robinson of Theodore, Ala.; daughters, Tommie Lou Long of Quitman and Linda Huddelston of Natchez; brothers, Jerry Adams of Ellisville and James Adams of Horse Shoe, N.C.; sisters, Lucy Buckley of Newton, Eva M. Ruffin of Ellisville and Lavada Bland and Helen Johnson, both of Ferriday, La.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Kennedy, Roger Tucker, David Fontinot, C.J. Cranford, Buddy Irby, Randy Fleming, Barry White and Danny Crump.

Mrs. Shoemake, 81, of Conehatta, died Monday, June 16, 2003, in Newton County.
Survivors include her son, Feldon Shoemake; sisters, Carrie Jefferson, Georgia Thomas and Juanita Shoemake, all of Conehatta; a brother, Hubert Shoemake; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Shumake, 71, of Conehatta, died Monday, June 16, 2003, in Conehatta.
Survivors include her daughters, Pearlie Thomas of Heidelberg, Anita Anderson and Eleanor Chickaway, both of Conehatta, and Norma Thompson of Philadelphia; a son, Genis Charles Shumake of Philadelphia; sisters, Jeffery Solomon of Philadelphia, Lolee Anderson, Odie Anderson and Dorothy Chapman, all of Conehatta; 37 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Shumake; a son, Thomas Shumake; a daughter, Jennelle Anderson; a grandson, Garmen Thomas; and a great-granddaughter.
