Tingle, Davis

Monica Renee Davis and Christopher Ross Tingle, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, March 8, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Horel officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John P. Davis Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Ross F. Tingle Jr., all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Foster Trawick of Butler, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Payne of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mae Carol Leach of Meridian and the late James R. Leach, and Ross F. Tingle Sr. of Meridian and the late Hazel Tingle.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mamie Nobles, organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an embroidered organza A-line gown featuring a beaded bodice and satin ribbon hemline.
Allison Barr of Hattiesburg served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Kym Peairs, Erica Huntley, Molly Kimble and Brandy Cramblitt, all of Meridian, and Laurie Jenkins of Newton. Jonathan Davis of Meridian, brother of the bride, served as bridesman.
Kayla and Kyra Moore of Toomsuba were flower girls.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Alan Tingle of Meridian, brother of the bridegroom, Tyler Evans and Chad Christian, both of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Brian Massey of Bentonville, Ark., Jonathan Smith of Houston, Texas, Jason Weeks of Jackson and Bryant Smith of Hattiesburg.
Program attendants were Robin Boswell and Susan Bounds, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held at Merrehope following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Ashley Bennett, Bonnie Smith, and cousins of the bridegroom, Sarah Leach and Kate Leach.
After a honeymoon cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico, the couple resides in Hattiesburg.
