Shannon, Thornhill

Mr. and Mrs. Parker Shannon of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Chanda Rebecca, to Chad Woodrow Thornhill, son of Frances Thornhill of Meridian and the late Toby Thornhill.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 14, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church.
Miss Shannon is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adie Parker Shannon, and the late Robert Leo Shirley and Irma Shirley.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Mobile.
Miss Shannon is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Thornhill is the grandson of the late John and Velma Thornhill and the late Jewell Taylor and Lamar Taylor, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in forestry management from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Thornhill is employed by Enterprise School System.
A reception will be held at the home of Van and Barbara Goodman following the ceremony.
