Smith, Jackson

Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Williamson of Oakvale, and Mr. and Mrs. James T. Smith Jr. of Monticello announce the engagement of their daughter, Chasity Dawn Smith, to Kevin Dale Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jackson of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 24, 2003, at 4 p.m. at Oakvale Baptist Church.
Miss Smith is the granddaughter of Thelma Scioneaux and the late Rodney P. Scioneaux of Oakvale, and James Smith of Monticello and the late Elvie W. Smith.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lawrence County High School and is attending William Carey College pursuing a degree in religion.
At William Carey, she is a member of alpha Delta Pi Omicron, Alpha Psi Omega and the Baptist Student Union.
Mr. Jackson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Glass and the late Mr. and Mrs. Van Jackson, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in theater from William Carey College.
While attending William Carey, he was a member of Alpha Psi Omega and the Baptist Student Union.
Mr. Jackson is employed by 38th Avenue Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
