Ridinger, Pate

Patsy Ridinger of Meridian and Bobby Ridinger of Center Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Dawn, to Richard Shane Pate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen E. Pate of Buhl, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Sugarland Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
Miss Ridinger is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Thrash of Meridian, Ruby Ridinger of Center Hill and the late Bill Ridinger.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and Meridian Community College. She is pursuing a business management degree at Mississippi State University.
Miss Ridinger is employed by CPI Corporation and Sears Portrait Studio.
Mr. Pate is the grandson of Mattie Clardy of Columbus and the late John C. Clardy, the late Julius C. Pate and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Cargile of Buhl.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School.
Mr. Pate is employed by Williamson Oil Company.
A reception will be held at Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
