Kelly Elizabeth Davis of Collinsville and Jamie Lee Matthews of Meridian were married Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Prospect Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Carl officiating.
Parents of the couple are Terry Lee and Beth Davis of Collinsville, Lori Matthews of Shreveport, La., and Larry Fulkerson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Grandparents of the bride are Les and Martha Kinney of Albany, Ga., and the late Ford and Viva Davis of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Leroy and Jean Matthews of Shreveport.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Nancy Giles of Collinsville.
The bride wore a white satin sleeveless gown. The bodice was accented with pears and crystals. She wore a fingertip veil of illusion and the headpiece was highlighted with inlaid crystals and tiny white roses.
She also wore a necklace of three pearls given to her as a "something new" gift. She carried a bouquet of white roses with two handkerchiefs. One of the handkerchiefs belonged to her great-grandmother and the other one belonged to the bridegroom's great-grandmother. A crystal vase was given as a gift from the bride's great-great-aunt and uncle to display the bouquet at the reception.
Mandy Wheeler of Toomsuba served as maid of honor.
Rick Davis of Collinsville, brother of the bride, served as best man.
Ring bearers were Leslie Kinney of Collinsville and Morgan Matthews of Shreveport, brother of the bridegroom.
Program attendants were Jessica and Maggie Moore, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held at Okatibbee Lake following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Cindy and Tony Davidson, Keith, Kevin and Buck Kinney, Kim Goff and Holly Pham.
After a honeymoon at Okatibbee Lake Cabins, the couple resides in Collinsville.
