Knott, Davis

Betty A. Davis and Levi Knott, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship with the Revs. Craig Tucker and Cedric DuBose officiating.
Parents of the couple are the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie "Bill" Davis, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Knott.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Tameka Collins, Scotty Brown and Harold Brassfield.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Marcus S. Davis. She wore a winter white gown of the bride's own creation. The satin gown featured a taffeta overlay and an empire waistline accented with seed pearls and beading.
The back was highlighted with flowing scarves and she wore a veil of silk illusion anchored with a headpiece accented with beading and seed pearls.
Teresa Westerfield of DeKalb served as maid of honor. LaRaven Minor of Meridian was flower girl.
Jesse Davis of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Tarquez Hopson and Reauze Cole, Robbie DuBose and Michael Lanier, all of Meridian.
A reception was held in church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
The couple resides in Meridian.
