One suspect was in custody today and another was being sought by Meridian police after a 2 a.m. robbery of Domino's Pizza on 65th Avenue.
Police said Jeffrey Ward was arrested about an hour after the robbery at his home in Meridian and charged with armed robbery. A second suspect has not yet been apprehended.
Detective Dean Harper, a spokesman for the Meridian Police Department, said officers responded to an alarm at the Domino's store early today. The suspects then led police in a car chase down 65th Avenue before crashing their car and taking off on foot.
Ward is being held at the Lauderdale County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
