Walker, Straight

Rosie Ruffin of Meridian and Lester Mitchell of Waynesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Selita Walker, to John Straight, son of the Rev. Timothy and Betty Straight of Aliceville, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at 4 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Meridian.
Miss Walker is the granddaughter of Ezell and Mary Walker of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and East Mississippi Community College.
Miss Walker is employed by Advance Auto Parts.
Mr. Straight is the grandson of Henry Ruffin of York, Ala., and Johnny Straight of Cleveland, Ohio.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Christ Temple Academy and Rhema Correspondence Bible School.
Mr. Straight is employed by D &D Trucking Inc.
A reception will be held at the Boys and Girls Club following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
