Retired foreman for Vanity Fair Mills
MONROEVILLE, Ala. Services for John Julius Wiggins will be held today at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Tate officiating. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery.
Mr. Wiggins, 78, of Monroeville, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in Meridian, Miss.
Survivors include his wife, Odessa Wiggins; two sons, Mike Wiggins of Monroeville and Mark Wiggins of Meridian; three brothers, James Wiggins of Seminole and Holly Wiggins and Claude Wiggins, both of Selma; a sister, Dorothy Collins of Montgomery; and four grandchildren.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Penkie Busby will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Hubert Yates and Jeff Switzer officiating. Burial will be in Bond Baptist Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Busby, 88, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Hospice Direct in Union.
Survivors include a son, Johnnie Lamar Robertson of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Johnnie Ruth Williamson of California; and a brother, Arnold Luke of California.
Clergyman and teacher
BUTLER, Ala. Services for Warren Stanley Rogers will be held today at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Revs. Scott Whetstone and Archie McIntire officiating. Burial will be in Butler City Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rogers, 79, of Butler, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Willow Trace Nursing Center.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Rogers of Butler.
Visitation will be today from 12:30 p.m.- 2 p.m. at the church.
Retired from Mississippi Power Co.
Services for L.H. "Barney" Barnhill will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. David Wood and Jamie Lamoreax officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Barnhill, 81, of Meridian, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in his home.
He was a member and past elder of Trinity Presbyterian Church. He was active in the Boy Scouts and Meals on Wheels and also was a past president of the Lauderdale Safety Commission. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. The family also gives a special thanks for the loving care provided by Elayne Mayo and also Harper Hospice Care.
Survivors include his sons, Richard Barnhill and his wife, Diane, of Brandon, Terry Barnhill and his wife, Kathi, of Monroe, La., and Michael Barnhill and his wife, Lory, of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Johnson and Nell Evans, both of Meridian, and Joan Bishop and her husband, Larry, of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Neil Barnhill and his wife, Fran, of Houston, Texas, James Barnhill and his wife, Pat, of Lauderdale, and Paul Barnhill and his wife, Susette, of Triangle, Va.; and a special friend, Willie Merle Reynolds of Meridian.
Memorials may be made to the Jeremy Barnhill Foundation for Christian Teens, P.O. Box 15052, Monroe, LA 71207 or a favorite charity.
Pallbearers will be Larry Johnson, Michael Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Randall Johnson, Jerome Hembree and Jimmy Reynolds.
Homemaker
Services for Viola Coleman will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter United Methodist Church in Marion with the Rev. Jake Brown officiating. Burial will be in Barker Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Coleman, 65, of Meridian, died Monday, March 3, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her daughters, Ava Roundtree of Marion, Barbara Coleman of Detroit and Mary Coleman and Martha Coleman, both of Meridian; sons, Henderson Christian Jr. of Laurel and Jimmy Christian and Walter Coleman Jr., both of Detroit, and Columbus Coleman of Marion; sisters, Annie Louise O'Neil of New York and Louise Warren of Meridian; brothers, Fred Warren and Pete Warren, both of Meridian; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dentist
Services for Kinsman Divine Ford will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church.
Dr. Ford, 82, of Meridian, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
The family requests that memorials be made to the church.
Visitation is today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
