Date set for second-annual Art for Love and Hope

Two local radio personalities announced details Wednesday of a second annual concert that will raise money for two local volunteer groups.
Al Brown and Art Matthews of B-93 "The Buzz" told a group of local business supporters and members of the media of plans for "Art for Love and Hope" a downtown concert and party to raise money for Hope Village and Love's Kitchen.
The event is set for April 13 at 6:30 p.m. under the 18th Avenue overpass near Union Station. Tickets for the event are $20 for a VIP pass, which includes food and drinks, and $10 for general admission.
All proceeds from the event will be given to benefit Hope Village and Love's Kitchen. A detailed schedule of events for the benefit is expected to be released later this week.
Ruthie Irwin of Love's Kitchen told the group how much her organization needs the community's support.
The concert will feature the music of Del Rendon and other bands to be announced in the near future.
