Mr. and Mrs. John Michael McSweeney of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Ramsey Meyer, to Jack Edward Groner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Castellaw Groner of Baton Rouge, La.
Miss Meyer is also the daughter of the late Carlton Shipman Sutton III of Jacksonville, Fla.
The wedding will be Saturday, April 26, 2003, at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Meridian.
Miss Meyer is the granddaughter of Mrs. Reuben S. Johnson Jr. of Meridian and the late Mr. Johnson; Antionette Sutton of Jacksonville and the late Carlton Shipman Sutton Jr.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School in Meridian and received a bachelor's degree in interior design from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Miss Meyer is an interior designer with Susan Bozeman Designs Inc. in Atlanta.
Mr. Groner is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fagan, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Groner of New Orleans.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of University High School in Baton Rouge, La., and Millsaps College in Jackson. He received his master's degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans.
While at Millsaps, he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the football team.
He is employed as a surgical sales representative for Olympus America Inc.
