Pearson, Jarvis

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby C. Pearson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann, to William Thomas Jarvis, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Jarvis of DeKalb.
The wedding will be Saturday, March 1, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. at Carmel Baptist Church.
Miss Pearson is the granddaughter of Peggie Sellers of Meridian and the late Horrie Sellers, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. Pearson of Chunky.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and received her bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Miss Pearson is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mr. Jarvis is the grandson of H.T. "Bud" Jarvis and the late Eloise Jarvis, the late Ola Jarvis of DeKalb, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Troy Peeler of Ripley.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Kemper Academy and received his bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Jarvis is employed by Liberty National Life Insurance.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
