Mr. Thompson, 56, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, in DeKalb. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, American Legion, VFW and Forty &Eight. He was a veteran of Vietnam and had been with Mississippi Power Company for 34 years.

QUITMAN Services for Henry Clay Bowman will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Johnny Mosley and Rodney Ward officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quitman.
Mr. Boman, 84, of Quitman, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Prentiss General Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his sons, Eddie Boman of Meridian and Bennie Boman of Quitman; three daughters, Joyce Mars of Meridian, Sandra Long of Enterprise and Kathy McLeod of Quitman; sisters, Emma Boman and Velma Griffin, both of Quitman; 23 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Walker, 68, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Carter and her husband, Harvey, and Virginia Barrios and her husband, John, all of Buras, La.; a son, Walter Glenn Talbert Jr. of Meridian; grandchildren, Michael B. Burt, Charlie O. Burt, Christopher Talbert, Scotty Talbert and Samantha Talbert; great-grandchildren, Charlie John Burt and Brooke Ashley Burt.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Glenn Talbert and Leland Walker.
Pallbearers will be A.J. Baskin, Clemmie Mathis, Charlie Burt, Chris Talbert, Mike Burt, Trent Ray Harden, Jimmy Bishop, Ray Eubanks, Leonard Eubanks, George Gray and Lynn Davidson.

SMYRNA, Ga. Private services for retired Master Sgt. Jimmy Richard Daniel have been held. Cremation Society of the South was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Daniel, 46, of Marietta, Ga., died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, in Marietta. He was a graduate of Harrison Central High School in 1974. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. During the last four years of his military career he was chief of student operations at the U.S. Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officers Academy in Montgomery, Ala.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Daniel Campbell of Meridian; his father, James D. Daniel and his wife, Cheryl, of Woodstock, Ga.; his uncle, Tommy Daniel of Tignell, Ga.; an aunt, Barbara Daniel of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brothers, Jay Daniel of Jacksonville, Fla., Joey Daniel of Meridian, Russell Daniel of Woodstock; sisters, Jerri Roberts of Houston, Texas, Jeanne Newman of Boca Raton, Fla., Julie Timmons of Parker, Colo., Lori Nichols of Canton, Ga., and JoElla Price of Houston, Texas; eight nieces, five nephews, two great-nieces and one great-nephew; several other relatives and friends.
