Mr. Savell, 59, of Brandon, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon. He was a native of Neshoba County and a resident of Rankin County since 1988, moving from Huntsville, Ala. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl and enjoyed woodworking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Savell of Brandon; a daughter, Ashley Hodge and her husband, Brian, of Petal; his mother, Annie Ruth Savell of Philadelphia; step-sons, Tommy Burleson and his wife, Pam, and Reggie Burleson and his wife, Cindy, all of Birmingham; a brother, Bob Savell and his wife, Nancy, of Montevallo, Ala.; his mother-in-law, Lois McKenzie, and a brother-in-law, Lamar McKenzie and his wife, Cindy, all of Meridian.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Mississippi Division, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ila Kate Nicholson

NEWTON Services for Ila Kate Nicholson will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. Burial will be in Newton Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Nicholson, 87, of Newton, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Rest Haven Nursing Home.
She was a member of Newton United Methodist Church and the Liberty Community Club.
Survivors include her two brothers, Jim Round and his wife, Hazel, of Noxapater and Clifton Round and his wife, Orean, of Newton; a sister-in-law, Francis Nichols of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Nicholson; and her parents, George and Kate Foley Round.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Round, Bill Beach, Michael Round, Ronnie Rawson, Donald Collins and Colt Collins.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Thursday beginning at 8 a.m. at the funeral home.
Hazel Sykes Grayson

QUITMAN Services for Hazel Sykes Grayson will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Neal officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quitman.
Mrs. Grayson, 77, of Biloxi, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her two sons, Charles Grayson of Houston, Texas, and Mark Grayson of Mandeville, La.; two brothers, James C. Sykes and Ralph Sykes of Quitman; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday beginning at noon at the funeral home.
Mary Sanders
Retired
Services for Mary Sanders will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at East Galilee Baptist Church in Rose Hill with the Rev. David Bush officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sanders, 87, of Enterprise, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her four daughters, Mary Bowie, Carolyn Gates and Katie Mae Scott, all of Enterprise, and Earnestine Chapman of Paulding; six sons, Marshall Lee Sanders of Columbus, Ohio, John D. Sanders and Herbert Sanders, both of New Brunswick, N.J., Marvin Sanders of Somerset, N.J., Tommie Lee Sanders of Enterprise and Henry Lee Sanders of Shubuta; three half-sisters, Margie Porter, Ruth Talbert Cooley and Mary Sue Hosey, all of Laurel; a brother, Eddie Cooley of Enterprise; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation will be Thursday 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Quitman.

QUITMAN Graveside services for Anita Faye Coody will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Andrew's Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Coody, 67, of Quitman, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Lakeside Living Center.
Survivors include her husband, Milton Coody of Toxey, Ala.; a son, Byron Coody of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Angie Michelle Coody of Jackson; brothers, Garner Fleming of Jackson, Ricky Fleming and Mack D. Fleming of Quitman; sisters, Peggy Jean Simpson of Louisville, Evelyn Fleming of Colorado, Sherrie Martin and Diane Young, both of Quitman.
Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flora M. Walk

Services for Flora M. Walk will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Causeyville with the Rev. Gregory Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walk, 90, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include five daughters, Effie Betts, Bobbie J. Malone and Anola Walk, all of Meridian, Lorene Strayhorn of Kinston, N.C., and Fannie Mae Williamson of Sandusky, Ohio; two sons, the Rev. C.L. Walk and Lee P. Walk, both of Meridian; 30 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
