It's rodeo time in Philadelphia

Steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel racing and, of course, bull riding all will be part of the 1st Annual Invitational Philadelphia Rodeo.
Professional black horsemen and women will participate on today and Saturday at the Neshoba County Coliseum.
More than 80 professional cowboys from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi and Georgia are expected to participate.
Watt, a native of Grenada, began planning the rodeo in August. He said he plans to hold other rodeos around the state.
Watt said he wanted to show young black children that they can get involved in something educational.
On that note, Watt and his fellow cowboys will host a matinee today for area school children.
Children are also invited to meet and talk with the cowboys and cowgirls Saturday beginning at about 9 a.m. at the coliseum.

When: 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday.
Tickets: $10 for adults, $4 for children and free for children 6 and under.
Kids Matinee: 10 a.m.-noon today; admission is $3.
