QUITMAN Services for James Leonard Jacobs will be held today at 11 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Keyon Smith and Richard Coats officiating. Burial will be in Mannassa Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Jacobs, 67, of Quitman, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Raebeth Jacobs and a daughter, Sandra Kaye O'Neil and her husband, Eric, all of Quitman; a brother, Darnell Jacobs and his wife, Jeannette, of Hayleville, Ala.; a sister, Eva Diane Bohannan and her husband, Bennie, of Coldman, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Pete Roberts, Gary Maxey, Christopher Hamrick, Phil Pierce, Wendell Carney and John Reeks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Hunter, the Rev. Edwin O'Neil, Bernice Fleming, Robert Smith, Robert Day, Lavon Wade and Wesley Slay.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Bobby L. Cumberland will be held today at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Mark Copeland and Jeff Switzer officiating. Burial will be in Sandtown Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mr. Cumberland, 54, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his sons, Brian Cumberland and Dr. Brent Cumberland, both of Philadelphia; sisters, Bonnie Sanderson of Preston, Mary C. Burns, Martha Herrington, Nell Tolbert, Louise Irons and Sara Burt, all of Philadelphia, and Brenda Smith of Union; brothers, Jessie Cumberland and Billy Cumberland, both of Preston, and Ronald Cumberland of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy A. Cumberland.

BUTLER, Ala. Graveside services for Laura Garrison Gibson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Concord Cemetery with the Rev. Levi Griffin officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Gibson, 84, of Lisman, Ala., died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Marion.
Survivors include her son, Everett "Buddy" J. Garrison Sr. of Lisman; a daughter, Carolyn R. Pruitt of Whynot; a brother, Leon Ford of Mobile, Ala.; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

DEKALB Services for Addie Clay Madison will be held today at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Randall Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Madison, 53, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Clay and Nersie Madison of DeKalb; a sister, Irene Robinson and her husband, Tommy, of Columbus, Ind.; three brothers, Henry Clay Madison and his wife, Terry, of DeKalb, the Rev. Charles Madison and his wife, Barbara, of Franklin, Ind., and Jimmy R. Madison and his wife, Shirley, of Milwaukee, Wis.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

UNION Services for Ollie "Joe" McElhenney will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Marney Ray Hollingsworth and Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. McElhenney, 66, of Union, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in Union.
Survivors include his wife, Bertie Chesney McElhenney, a daughter, Katherine Daniels and her husband, Eddie, and a son, Vincent McElhenney, all of Union; two sisters, Ellen McElhenney of Decatur and Willie Ree Taylor of Clarksdale; six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
