Tuesday has big slate of games

After taking today off, area high school basketball teams resume in full force on Tuesday with key games having Neshoba Central traveling to West Lauderdale, Philadelphia hosting Choctaw Central, Southeast Lauderdale going to Heidelberg, Clarkdale hosting Newton, Meridian hosting Tupelo, and Heidelberg Academy going to Wayne Academy.
In other games on Tuesday, Carthage is at Newton County, Kemper County goes to Williams-Sullivan, Quitman is at Mendenhall, Louisville is at Noxubee County, Northeast Lauderdale hosts Bay Springs, Ethel is at Nanih Waiya, Union goes to Pisgah, Demopolis, Ala., is at Choctaw County, Winston Academy visits Central Academy, Lamar is at Jackson Prep, Newton County Academy goes to Leake Academy, Patrician Academy is at Wilcox Academy, and Marengo Academy is at Sumter Academy.
Play resumes on Thursday with Wayne County coming to Meridian for a pair of makeup games from Nov. 22.
Other action on Thursday has Victory Christian at Central Academy, Heidelberg Academy at Lamar, and Wayne Academy at Kemper Academy.
Key games on Friday have West Lauderdale hosting Heidelberg, Union hosting Lake, Newton hosting South Leake, and Northeast Lauderdale going to Florence.
In other games on Friday, Philadelphia is at Carthage, Newton County goes to Choctaw Central, Kemper County visits East Oktibbeha, Magee is at Quitman, Forest Hill travels to Wayne County, Noxubee County is at Aberdeen, Nanih Waiya hosts Greenville St. Joseph, Central Academy is at Sylva-Bay Academy, Meridian is at Choctaw County, Clarkdale is at Williams-Sullivan, Enterprise hosts Scott Central, Louisville hosts New Hope, Leake Academy hosts Manchester Academy, Newton County Academy is at Wayne Academy, Southern Choctaw Academy visits Patrician Academy, and Sumter Academy visits Pickens Academy.
On Saturday, Bay Springs is at Heidelberg, Kemper Academy visits Heidelberg Academy, Lamar travels to Copiah Academy, Leake Academy is at Heritage Academy, Winston Academy is at Newton County Academy, Sebastopol goes to Noxapater, Southeast Lauderdale is at Ridgeland, and Union goes to Philadelphia for makeup games from Nov. 25.
The Neshoba Central teams will face Warren Central in the Red Carpet Classic at Vicksburg.
The Broiler Classic at Forest, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled.
