KALEB THOMAS MILLER
QUITMAN Graveside services for Kaleb Thomas Miller were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Old Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Garland Boyd officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Infant Miller, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Miller of Quitman; a twin brother, Wyatt Edward Miller; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Peterman of Pascagoula; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Miller of Quitman.
Memorials may be made to Twin to Twin Syndrome, 411 Long Beach Parkway, Bay Village, Ohio, 44140.
ODDIE JEFFERES
Retired restaurant owner
Graveside services for Oddie "Jeff" Jefferes will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence Tilghman officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jefferes, 78, of Meridian, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his children, Gene Jefferes and his wife, Diane, of Hudson, Fla., Pat Clay of Meridian and Linda Rossie, of Providence, Rhode Island; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Jefferes.
VELMA MAE ATKINSON
Homemaker
Services for Velma Mae Atkinson will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Atkinson, 80, of Chunky, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, in her home. She was one of seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Atkinson of Chunky; a son, Jerry Newberry of Mosell; daughters, Carolyn Smith of Meridian, Marie Sanders of Ozark, Ark., Marilyn Wood of Meridian and Connie Riley and her husband, Jerry, of Meridian; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Buddy Burns and Reo Burns, both of Hattiesburg; sisters, Hassie Herrington, Oma Walley, Pauline Gingrich and Zettie Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Mellie Burns.
Pallbearers will be Tony Wood, Jr., James Wood, Robert Sanders, Jerry Sanders, Kenny Sanders, and Joshua Carpenter.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman for James Leonard Jacobs, who died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Rufus "Bubba" Griffin, 73, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
OLLIE JOE MCELHENNEY
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home of Union, for Ollie Joe McElhanney, 66, of Union, who died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in his home.
