Smith, Davis

Charlotte Rene Davis of Meridian and Jason William Smith of Coatopa, Ala., were married Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at First Christian Church with the Rev. Jack White and Dr. Tom Sikes officiating.
Parents of the couple are Carmen Renfrow and Van Davis, both of Meridian, and James and Terri Smith of Coatopa.
Grandparents of the bride are Bruce Womack and the late Allene Womack, and Bernice and Gerry Davis.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are John and Ina Neuhauser and Julia Smith and the late John Smith.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Manley Blackwell, organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white strapless gown with a fitted bodice and featured an a satin A-line skirt. The gown was adorned with delicate beading which covered the bodice and hemlines of the skirt and swept into a chapel-length train.
Kate Neely of Tupelo served as maid of honor. Honorary bridesmaids were Phylicia Dively, Hannah Davis, Emily Womack, Heather Cannon, Rachael Womack, Callie Womack and Winston Neuhauser.
Other attendants were Nikki Yates of Meridian, Lindsey Spencer of Maben and Jennifer Davis of Diamondhead.
Anna Gaston Stephens of Coatopa was flower girl.
Andy and Adam Smith, both of Coatopa and brothers of the bridegroom, were best men. Groomsmen and ushers were Jerry Windle of Birmingham, Ala., Chris Davis of Diamondhead, Bo Davis, Austin Davis, Randy Lee, Phillip Dively, and Ethan Womack, all of Meridian.
Kellen McCullock of Meridian was ring bearer and Sean Patrick McCullock of Meridian was train bearer.
Program attendants were Brooke Roberson and Brittany Davis.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's grandparents, Bernice and Gerry Davis, following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Megan Hoffer, Amanda Yates, Amy Shumpart and Jesse Young.
After a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Meridian.
