    Retired teacher
    RIDGELAND Graveside services for May Tatum Hull will be held today at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Cemetery, behind Olen Campbell Hull Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Henderson Rasberry, pastor of Madison United Methodist Church officiating. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Miss Hull, 90, of Ridgeland, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, in Ridgeland. She was known by her family as "Sister" or "MT" (pronounced Empty). She graduated from Whitworth College in Brookhaven and Millsaps College in Jackson and became a teacher. She completed her master's at the University of Southern California. She taught English in Meridian and at Meridian Community College for 20 years. She also taught English at Pensacola Junior College.
    Survivors include her nieces, Judy Monk McArthur of Canton and Sherry Monk Jones of Madison; nephews, Olen North Hull of Chunky, Ronald Eugene Hull of El Centro, Calif., and Steven Campbell Hull of Pelahatchie; sisters-in-law, Lula Mae Hull of El Centro and Nancy Rogers Hull of Brandon; great-nieces, Dana McArthur Lubeck of Guatamala, Wendy McArthur Summers of Canton and Marjorie May Jones and Judy Lynn Jones, both of Madison.
    Memorials may be made to Madison United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1696, Madison, MS 39130; Central United Methodist Church in Meridian; the United Methodist Hour, P.O. Box 16657, Hattiesburg, MS 39404; or to Dana and Jamey Lubeck, Missionaries in Guatamala, Section 008497, P.O. Box 02-5289, Miami, FL 33102-5289.
    Virgil Holifield
    Sawmill worker
    QUITMAN Graveside services for Virgil "Tom" Holifield will be held today at 11 a.m. at Corinth Assembly of God Cemetery with the Rev. Glen McLeod officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Holifield, 63, of Quitman, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, in his home.
    Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Faye Holifield of Quitman; sons, Tommy Holifield, Kenneth Holifield and Clayton Holifield, all of Quitman; a sister, Mary Lou Carney of Eight Mile, Ala.; brothers, Cliff Holifield of Tillmans Corner, Ala., and Jimmy Dale Holifield of Creighton, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
    Alfred E. Keene
    Retired construction mechanic
    Services for Alfred E. Keene will be held today at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Overby officiating. Burial will be in Keene Cemetery.
    Mr. Keene, 69, of Toomsuba, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and a former member of Central Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Navy See-Bees, a Mason and Shriner.
    Survivors include his wife, Gertie Keene of Toomsuba; a daughter, Tanya Ramey and her husband, Matt, of Decatur; a son, Marvin Lee Keene of Toomsuba; step-daughters, Charlotte Steffey of Toomsuba and Pamela Parker of Meridian; sisters, Marian Gullette and her husband, Frank, of Meridian and Virginia DuValle of Meridian; brothers, James W. Keene and his wife, Helen, of Kaufman, Texas, and Charles H. Keene of Little Rock; a sister-in-law, Scottie Keene of Collinsville; five grandchildren, Justin "Jay" Hardeman, Blade Edward Felton Ramey, William Robbie Martin, Christopher Excel Williams and Kasie Marie Brown; two great-grandsons, Andrew France and Takoda Martin.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Vandoren Keene and Pauline Speed Keene; and a brother, Everett Linwood Keene.
    Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
    Pallbearers will be Chris Williams, Justin Hardeman, Everette "Skip" Keene, Michael Sheffield, James Anderberg and Jimmy McGuire.
    Honorary pallbearer will be William Prichard.
    Dorothy S. Mason
    Homemaker
    MACON Service for Dorothy S. Mason will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raggy Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be in Shuqualak Cemetery.
    Mrs. Mason, 87, of McCalla, Ala., died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, in her home.
    Survivors include her daughters, Linda Thomas of Orange Beach, Ala., and Jane Allred of McCalla; sons, Stephen Mason of Marietta, Ga., and Michael Mason of Bel Aire, Md.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Sullivan of Jackson, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Mason.
    Eleanor Pearl Walker Green
    Owner, manager of convenience store
    JACKSON, Ala. Services for Eleanor Pearl Walker Green will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Jackson.
    Mrs. Green, 80, of Meridian, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, in her home.
    Survivors include her sons, Jessie J. Green of Meridian and George Gene Walker of Irvington, Ala.; daughters, Sandra Walker Millard Silkwood of Texarkana, Ark., Barbara Lee Green and Sabra Lynn Dow, both of Meridian; a brother, Percy Elwin Horton of Gulfport; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Ernie Albritton
    Educational trainer, coach
    SENATOBIA Services for Ernie Albritton will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Senatobia. Burial will be in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. C.O. Pate Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Albritton, 68, of Senatobia, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. He graduated form Murphy High School in Mobile, Ala., in 1951 and Mississippi College in Clinton in 1956.
    He was a member of the M Club and Spots Hall of Fame at Mississippi College. He also completed graduate work at Ole Miss, Mississippi State and the University of Oklahoma.
    He played for the C.F.L. for the Toronto Argonauts. He has been honored as Mississippi Citizen of the Year and as Mississippi Athlete of the Year. He was the first head coach at Warren Central High School and coached at numerous other public and private schools in Mississippi. He was Private School Track Coach of the Year in 2002. He was supply music minister in Mississippi, Arkansas and Oklahoma. He was a member of the Albritton Quartet, the Middle Cross Quartet and the Remembering Time Quartet.
    Survivors include his wife, Kitt Albritton; daughters, Michele Ricker of Meridian and Cherie Anderton of Vicksburg; sons, Jay Albritton of Vicksburg and Scott Albritton of Brandon; a step-daughter, Leisi Snden Ross of Waukesha, Wis.; a step-son, Erich G. Doser of Ann Arbor, Mich.; his mother, Cifola Albritton of Oklahoma City; a sister, Marty Odom of Oklahoma City; and brothers, Truman Albritton of Senatobia and Paul Albritton of Vicksburg; and seven grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Family Life Center of the church.
