Rivers, Heflin

Libby Heflin of Decatur and Mike Rivers of Meridian were married Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Okatibbee Reservoir with Jim Edwards officiating.
Parents of the couple are Danny and Debbie Heflin of Decatur, and Hubert and Virginia Rivers of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Carl and Marie Hollingsworth and the late Hairston Heflin of Decatur, and the late Julian and Betty Kern of Mobile, Ala.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Combs, and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Rivers.
Nuptial music was provided by Garrett Ip of Meridian.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Debbie Heflin attended her daughter as maid of honor. Other attendants were Ashton Vance and Jayden Heflin, daughter of the couple.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Crampton of Tennessee and Greg Ip of Meridian.
A reception was held in the cabin following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Ruthann Vogel, Amy White and Beth Lewis, all of Meridian.
