Morgan-Little capture NCC title

Former LSU golfer Judge Little and partner Scott Morgan added the Northwood Country Club Labor Day Tournament to their collection on Monday afternoon.
Little and Morgan carded a 12-under 60 on Monday to win the three-day tournament by a stroke over the team of Winston Powell and Dan Singley, Little and Morgan finished with a 34-under 182 to Powell and Singley's 33-under 183.
Little said his team got some late pressure from the runners-up.
Following the tournament, Little and Morgan won the flight champion shootout. The pair had to go six holes before winning it on a par-5. The fourth flight winners of Jack Blackledge and Mike Johnson gave a battle squaring on five holes.
Powell and Singley led by one shot going into Monday. The pair had a two-day score of 121 compared to Little and Morgan's 122. The team of Dan Angero and Bilbo Mitchell along with the team of Earl Aycock and Kelly Swain were tied at 124.
On Monday, Angero and Mitchell shot a 61 to finish at 185 to take third place. Aycock and Swain had a 62 to end at 186 for fourth place. Dan Cook and Alex Weddington finished fifth with an 187 following a 62 in the final round. Jason Anders and Al Tynes Jr., won the first flight firing a 61 in the final round to come in at 191.
The team of John Dement and Chuck Gordon also fired an 11-under 61 in the final round. The pair finished at 195 to win the second flight.
Reid Kennedy and Jon David Johnson won the third flight with a three-day score of 202. Jack Blackledge and Mike Johnson won the fourth flight with a 202. Glenn Brown and Clark Gordon won the fifth flight with a 211. James Everett and Willie Coats won the seventh flight with a 225. The eighth flight was won by Steve Collier and Joe Stewart.
