25th anniversary
Steve and Kathy Dyess of Meridian were married Aug. 6, 1977. They have two children, Leah Rawson and Stephen Dyess. Steve is the senior vice president at Trustmark National Bank and Kathy is a sixth-grade teacher at Northeast Middle School. The Dyess' attend Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dyess is the former Kathy Mosley.
95th birthday
An open house celebrating the 95th birthday of Gaston McKee will be Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Big Oak United Methodist Church, Old Jackson Road near Highway 495 in Kemper County). Friends and family are invited to attend. No gifts please.
