LOUISVILLE Services for Carobel Milton Chapman will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville.
Mrs. Chapman, of Viera, Fla., died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Autumn House Assisted Living Facility in Viera. She was retired teacher in the Meridian Public Schools District.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Donald of Merritt Island, Fla.; a son-in-law, Harold Donald of Merritt Island; niece, Carol Hodo of West Monroe, La.; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Chapman.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Gordi Rayner will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Maine officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rayner, 100, of Meridian, died Monday, July 29, 2002, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sons, George Rayner,and his wife, Dorothy, of Meridian, William "Bill" Rayner and his wife, Obera, of Hattiesburg and Tommy L. Rayner of Meridian; a daughter, Mellie Palmer of Meridian; six grandchildren, George Warren Rayner Jr. and his wife, Judy, Donna Hill, John Rayner, Mary Maine and her husband, the Rev. Roy Maine, Dr. Todd Palmer and his wife, Kim, and Jeff Palmer and his wife, Karen; 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ethel Clark of Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Bill" Rayner Sr.

Visitation will be Wednesday 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. LaMagdelaine, 84, of Holley Navarre, Fla., died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Gulf Breeze Hospital in Santa Rosa,
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Harris of Holley Navarre, Fla.; a son, Joe Shockley of Columbus, Ga.; sisters, Dollie Gibson of Land, Ala., and Lessie Smith of Picayune; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo LaMagdelaine; and a daughter, Shielda Ann Caine.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

FOREST Services for Daisy Lyles Gardner will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church in Decatur. Holifield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lyles, 59, of Decatur, died Friday, July 26, 2002. She was a civic and civil rights worker in Newton County.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Gardner of Decatur; three daughters, Dr. Jennifer M. Gardner-Jordan, Amy Gardner and Cynthia Gardner-Brown; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a son, Walter E. Gardner Jr.

Services for George Hal Soul Sr. will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Elvin Sunds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Soul, 90, of Meridian, died Monday, July 29, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Mr. White, 90, of York, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at Sumter Health and Rehab Center.
