YORK, Ala. Services for Alice Leigh McElroy will be held today at 3 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dudley Wilson and Grant McLain officiating. Burial will be in Sumter Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Mrs. McElroy, 91, of York, died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Providence Hospital in Mobile.
Survivors include a son, William "Billy" McElroy of Mobile; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; two brothers, John Hatcher Wilson of Orange Beach and Joe Mack Wilson of Mobile; and a sister, Margaret Vines, of York.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl McElroy.
Visitation will be held today from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
ROSE ANN GUTHRIE
Retired
Graveside services for Rose Ann Guthrie will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Guthrie, 60, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and worked at Super Stop, May Webb, and Graham Transfer and Storage Company.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Guthrie Sr. of Meridian, her children, Vickie Lynn of Virginia, Ricki Ann Myrick and her husband, Jeff, John H. Guthrie and his wife, Jeannie, Robert E. Gurthrie Jr. and his wife, Amy, and Daniel B. Guthrie, all of Meridian, and Ann Penix and her husband, David, of North Carolina; her sister, Evelyn McWilliams and her husband, Sonny, of Grafton, West Virginia; a brother, Paul Pirone and his wife, Jackie, of Ohio; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mable Grimes of Grafton, West Virginia.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
ROBERT BEASON
Services for Robert Beason will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Richard Parker and Johnny McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Beason, 68, of Philadelphia, died Monday, June 17, 2002, at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Beason and Jerry Beason, both of Meridian; four daughters, Lenora Beason, Dale Beason, and Tina Brewster and her husband, Raymond, all of Meridian and Valerie McDonald and her husband, Johnny, of Toomsuba; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Laura Beason.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
BEVERLY WILLIAMS HARRELL

BUTLER, Ala. Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Williams Harrell, a native of Choctaw County and resident of Butler, Ala., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Butler with Dr. Billy Burge and Dr. Raymond Leake officiating. Burial will be in the Butler City Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harrell was the daughter of John Spottswood and Ida Cook Williams.
Mrs. Harrell passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2002, in Meridian, Miss. She was a retired secretary.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Alfred Gaines Harrell III and his wife, Carolyn, of Meridian; two daughters, Martha E. Harrell of Meridian and Mrs. Beverly H. Hornady and her husband, Joe, of Monroeville; a brother, W.W. Williams of Meridian; three sisters, Mrs. Berta Robinson and Mrs. Jim Windham, both of Columbus, Miss., and Mrs. Adolyne Duvall of Gulfport, Miss.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her husband, S.P. Harrell; and a daughter, Bessie Parker Harrell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Butler or the Alabama Children's Home.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
CHARLES O. MCCALL
Missionary
Services for Charles O. "Chuck" McCall will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bethany Church in Quitman with the Rev. Melvin Boles officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Quitman with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McCall, 29, of Toulon, France, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, in Nice, France.

Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Jack Amison, 63, of Meridian, who died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
OLIVE IRENE DEWITT
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Olive Irene DeWitt, 99, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare Center.
