JOHN HENRY UNDERWOOD
QUITMAN Services for John Henry Underwood will be held today at 3 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willie Lee Pearce officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Underwood, 76, of Quitman, died Friday, May 3, 2002 at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include five daughters, Patsy Holloman and Gina Griffin, both of Quitman; Peggy Cunningham and Sue Dykes, both of Citronelle, Ala.; and Linda Holley of Houston; three sons, Jimmy Whitaker Jr. of Quitman; Walter Underwood of San Antonio; and Anthony Underwood of Laurel; a sister, Lenora Robinson of Bay Springs; three brothers, Harvey Underwood and Bobby Underwood, both of Quitman; and George Underwood of Stonewall; 32 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Willie P. Livingston will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Edsol Wells officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Livingston, 83, of Meridian, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer and secretary. She also served as an officer at state and local levels of the WMU, and was active in the telephone pioneers.
Survivors include Helen Webb, and her husband, William, of Cuba, Ala.; a granddaughter, Sandra Webb-Thompson of Collinsville; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Temple Livingston, her father, Taylor Pagan, and her mother, Lillie M. Hailey Pagan.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Hazel H. Betterton will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Chamberlin Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Betterton, 68, of Toomsuba, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Kellis Store Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Allen of Beaufont, S.C.; a nephew and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Betterton, her father, Grady Haskins, and her mother, Esma Duncan Haskins.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m.-noon at the funeral home.
BETHANY KRISTINE HAMILTON

Services for Bethany Kristine Hamilton will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pastor Paul LaBlanc officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Ms. Hamilton, 19, of Bailey, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Meridian path finder club and active in church and school.
Survivors include her mother, Lisa Strauser and her husband, Terry, of Bailey; her father, Larry Hamilton and his wife, Eileen, of New Orleans; her fiance', David Vidal of Bailey; two sisters, Amy and Elizabeth Hamilton of Bailey; two brothers, Todd and P.J. Hamilton, of New Orleans; grandparents Joseph and Carolyn Swistek of Bailey; her grandfather, Marvin Hamilton of Freeport, Maine; a step-sister and brother, Denise and Steven Strauser of Pearl; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her step-grandfather, Jeffrey Richardson and her grandmother, Hattie Hamilton.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
