By Staff
April 7, 2002
The staff of McRae's Fine Jewelry Department recently held a luncheon at Nick's Restaurant in Jackson to honor the year's top sales associates. The event included this year's President's Club member from Meridian, Jo Ann Bennett.
The Meridian chapter of the Mississippi Restaurant Association recently elected Rick Beal, owner of Cakes Etc., as its new president. Beal succeeds Monte Earlywine, co-owner of D.T. Grinders Restaurant.
Kevin Brooks, manager of D.T. Grinders, will serve as vice president and Dixie Labruyre, owner of Little Caesar's Pizza, was elected secretary-treasurer.
The Meridian Chapter of the Mississippi Restaurant Association sponsors a number of charitable events each year, including the Bonita Classic. The chapter represents the interests of the hospitality industry in the area. Membership is open to any business with an interest in tourism, food service or lodging or any aspect of the hospitality industry.
